OpenCpn and Raymarine Axiom 12

Hello Everyone,


I am trying to connect OpenCpn to a Axiom 12 by wifi.
The wifi is on. My computer is connected to this network with the name and password.
I was wondering how to setup the parameters on "connection" on OpenCPN.
For a network connection u need an IP Adress and a oprt.
Is someoneknow those parameters.

I think Axiom only uses a remote desktop app. It doesn't seem to be sending NMEA0183 data.

The usual way for data traffic with OpenCPN is to use a gateway with WiFi access point and NMEA2000/SeatalkNG.

I don’t believe that will work, as the Axiom would have to port data over TCP/IP and I doubt it does that. You’ll ,Ed a NMEA to TCP/IP decide to plug into your NMEA2000 network to get that data. I like the units from Yacht Devices.
