Thanks Dave, will do a little later today.

I'll try to screen film it when crashing & send a link with this to flyscreen (linked video file will be up for 7 days).
I'll also send the MB tile in question.

They are made with SAS and fairly big (Spanish north coast Sat images).
MBtiles can also only be up for 7days.

As my PC has 64Gb of ram, I do not think it is a memory issue, especially as they showed when I was still under Win 10.

Just for kicks, you might try disabling some of those plugins, and see how it reacts...

Sorry, tried twice, the tileset failed to download.
I don't know how big the actual tileset is. But a 1.4 GB 7z zip of essentially compressed PNG images will be enormous when uncompressed.


The failure on W11 could be from many sources, but I suspect the most likely source is the OpenGL driver stack.



I'll stop working on this one now. A huge tileset like this will be essentially unworkable on any reasonable hardware. If you can reproduce the fault with a smaller sized tileset, we can try again.

Hi Dave, thanks for trying.

It's 1.7 GB unpacked, funny thing is, it works fine on Win 10 no problems there.
That's why I am surprised it's not working in Win 11.

1.7Gb is nothing when the PC has 64Gb Ram.

As I said, will break future tile sets down. Might perhaps be good to suggest that in the manual too.
