Gilletarom...

OK, thanks. I see the 80 S lat, and your route and points.

What is your request, please?

Thanks
Dave

Re: OpenCPN Beta test 4.2.1724 (RC1) Release

Dave

Two similar questions. It is a feature.

With the NV-Verlag charts, we download charts but also downloads two types of information:
- A lot of waypionts associated data on charts
- Pictures showing particularly important points of the landscape.

Is it conceivable that we can use this data with OpenCPN?

Same question with inland charts French rivers.
By downloading these charts, we also download images to show, as for NV-Verlag, important points of rivers and canals.

Is it conceivable to use them, with OpenCPN?

Best regards. Gilletarom

The
Code:
Detected display size (horizontal): 308 mm
every second is suspicious and should be take care of but I don't think it's the culprit.

Otherwise every time users click on a chart the cache is purged, it's the normal behavior but it seems NV init is a bit slow:
Code:

Don't know if it's normal but it also reload this dll a lot.
NVC_PI: Loading decrypt dll : C:\Program Files (x86)\NV-Digital\nvcdll.dll

Anybody has NV stuff installed and can double check?

It's possible to not purge the cache, it's a one line change and I've done it for a year but even if it work for me its side effects are unknown.
