Dave,
the bad news:
Your commit "Updates to PlugIn chart interface, especially S57 extended sectors and NATSUR attributes display." crashes heavily here with Mac OS X. Have still not checked why. It compiles but starts with infinitiv loop. Possibly because of the changes in ocpn-plugin.h and/or pluginmanager.cpp. I have to check without any plugins.

The good news:
The bug in wxWidgets for font names in OS X Mavericks is finally fixed now, issue #15999. Since Mavericks the font names have changed and the OS is awaiting postscript font names now.
