Re: OpenCPN Beta Version 4.6.22

On the W8.1 PC I can either right click the dropped mark - gets highlighted with a yellow square and then select properties from the contextual menu. Double-click on the mark brings the properties up directly. All same as before always.

Or are you talking about something different?

No, no and no, that was not like that. Windows 10 left click, properties and you see the position. That was like that for quite sometimes.

Re: OpenCPN Beta Version 4.6.22

Left Double click brings up the Properties.
Tried single click on a W8.1 OCPN 4.4 and macOS 4.6.22 getting the same behavior as in the W8.1 4.6.22 - nothing happens. Only double click or right click for highlight and selection of options.

In this context I see a regression:
size of the highlight square. Too big for all architectures.
See screen shots, 4.6.22 the right one

Adding: boundary points from the Draw-PI receive the correct bounding box

Re: OpenCPN Beta Version 4.6.22

When you did clik on properties, you could see the posiition lat and long; no more all you have is the spinning wheel. Is that clear enough.
Regards.

Furthermore the icon of waypoints are way over size.
That is not correct at all.
Bye

Dave ...

Sure - first 4.6.1, second 4.6.22
in 4.6.22 really tiny - one does need a magnifier...

Dave I did revert to 4.6.2 and that is were it started. double click on the icon, spinning wheel and after a moment the property box shows up. That was not the way before. I will be back late afternoon. Bye.

I agree something has changed. I'm sure the previously left click applied the yellow highlight.

Double clicking now also brings up the the properties but the icon clicked is not left highlighted so that it is no longer obvious which mark you are editing the properties for.

Windows 10.

Re: OpenCPN Beta Version 4.6.22

Dave, Transmitterdan,

Sorry to relaunch this topic.

Just an idea. And maybe too late for the release of the V4.8.

The NMEA phrase window should be integrated in the "Options / Connections" window. It would be enough that it is just at the bottom of the window with a button "On" and a "Pause" button.

Since the "Options / Connections" window already has a slider, it might be feasible?

Gilletarom.

How obnoxious and ungrateful can one be!? Damn!
Instead of complaining in a smug, rude and self entitled manner, please step to the plate and show the rest of us how it is done. Come on now Mr. CEO of software ... no more talking, just do it!
