Could you update takcandlay_pi and trimplot_pi when you get a chance.
I think they have been fixed/updated and I'd like to test them.

This thread is for posting updates to "Opencpn Beta Windows Plugins"
These Windows install files try track the most recent 'Beta' version of the plugins.

For the most stable Windows plugin install versions please first check the Opencpn Downloads page or Sourceforge opencpnplugins . Pavel has been rapidly updating all the plugins for internationalization files and more standardized compile formats, and other authors have been busy, so please check these links unless you are willing to test beta plugins, which may have small improvements, possibly some problems, and certainly will have bug fixes.

Opencpn Beta Win File Thingie rguser rgpass attempts to be current to the most current 'Beta' version. Many of these files are right now the same as the stable published version, but soon they may move ahead, addressing issues and testing enhancements.

Tack and Lay now shows certain polar files in the diagram, however I seem to still bomb out when I try to set a race point and then run a VDR nmea file such as Hartmut's file in the Netherlands.
It bombs before I can start the VDR playing and directly after trying to set the point. We may have to run debug to find out more. JM perhaps you can get it going?

Squiddio is much improved, and allows blog tracking, sending your position and sharing positions with buddies, etc. This may be the version may be in sourceforge opencpnplugins, I do not know.

Sean's trimplot is much improved and I an actually starting to understand it better. I will post some pictures on the trimplot thread. Someone needs to get him some old wind instruments with nmea output somehow, so that can be implemented, because he has no use for Wind at the moment, because he has no nmea wind instruments.

I had the same results with TackAndLay: Polar file is read and displayed, but OpenCPN crashes when I try to set the Race Mark.

Attached are the crash dump files if that helps at all.

I've learned that use of VS2013 + wxWigets 3.0.2 to compile is next generation, for only 4.1.427 and beyond. It will not compile 3.2.2 and 4.0 plugins properly. Therefore I have removed two BR24 plugins compiled improperly and uploaded

br24radar_pi-1.2-ov4.0-c-win32

which has been compiled on a Win 8.1 tablet with older VS2010 + wxWidgets 2.8.12

If you downloaded last night this plugin, please delete it. Thankyou.

Opencpn v4.1.602 Plugin updates found in 4.1.602 PI Win directory
Due to upgrade to wxWidgets 3.0, earlier plugins are not compatible with v4.1.602 forward.
Therefore all plugins must be recompiled for v4.1.602. They will then be compatible with Opencpn until another wxWidgets upgrade.

Just S63_pi and TackandLay are not compiled there. This thread will continue to update ocpn_draw_pi and tackandlay and any other plugins that are being worked on in active development.
