Help to find new or "old" Editors
If you know of User's willing to provide these skills and time, or are able to help yourself or have Edited the OpenCPN Manual before, please PM rgleason here noting your interest & skills.

We need your help to update the Manual on a continuing basis! Thank you.

NOTICE TO EDITORS - Move Plugin

Editors: We have been using the Move Plugin (carefully) which is found under Admin at the bottom under "Other Plugins" The "Tree-based" Move has been enhanced to allow checking in the box multiple files. Then you open the sub folder where you want to place the files and then grab one of the checked files, keeping the left button down, then perhaps hit "Home" to move to the destination faster, then drop the files where you want them.
Then you should uncheck the files if you are going to do another move.

This process does not actually make the move and fix the links, it just records what you want to do, so you can exit the process if it is not working for you and start over.

Next make the Move, be patient and wait after you hit Save. If the moves are listed you can then inspect and make sure (images are not listed yet). Then hit save again and wait for the progress bar to finish. The Dokuwiki will then open at a new screen upon completion.

Then check your links to make sure they worked.

NOTE:
We have been moving all Plugin Images to plugin subdirectories under
MEDIA pencpn:manuallugins:[specific plugin directory]

Most of the images that were identifiable with a plugin have been moved, however there are still images without an identifier that belong in the manuallugins: [sub-dir] so Editors & Authors please check your documents for other images that need to be moved.

Thank you!
