OpenCPN Download link not working

I am trying to download OpenCPN for Linux and the link on the download page isn't working.

Is there another link or am I being particularly dumb?

Which exact link are you referring to?
There are quite a few different "Linux" links.

The Gentoo portage link fixed, thanks. BTW, Mint is an Ubuntu clone, so you have to install the same way as you would on Ubuntu - the easiest is to add official PPA (https://launchpad.net/~opencpn/+archive/opencpn)

Thanks for the tip - I am very, very new to Linux/Ubuntu etc, so have no idea what a PPA is? If I can't work it out, I'll dig through this forum for help.

I don't see any problem with them. But it sure might be that sourceforge was down for a while.

The link to opencpn.org bombs out taking too long to respond.

At random I cannot access opencpn.org, sourceforge, cruisersform and other servers. Usually only one or two sites at a time are down, and if I use a proxy (as I am now because I cannot access cruisers forum without it at the moment) then I have access. In a few hours the situation changes, and the forum works, but opencpn.org does not.
