Re: OpenCPN for Android Beta test 4.1.530

Oh dear. OCPN (android) stopped working on a rooted Samsung tab 8. When I click the icon I am just getting a black screen for a few seconds and then it just goes back to my home screen.
I re installed and have the same situation.
Not really sure what to do now.

I have been using OCPN on this tablet for quite a while with no issue at all.

Obviously any advice would be appreciated.

Same with me on Galaxy Tab 10.1, worked for a few days, then a few days ago stoped working. Reinstall didn`t help.

Is this normal at this beta stage?

Samsung Galaxy TAB 8.9, Android 4.3

My devices: Samsung Galaxy S5, Android 5.0 and Samsung TAB 7, Android 4.3
Agree, a setting to keep the screen alive during navigation is a necessity! It's really a nuisance that the screen goes black while sailing.... Cheers, Peter.

"add" button is don't working in the CONNECTIONS tab

Hi Dave,

(Sorry, my English is poor)

I have a Raspberry Pi, Laptop with an ubuntu, and the android tablet.
OpenCPN on the Ubuntu and RPI working perfect, but the Android is not..

I'm downloading the free version, and later the full version from the google play. This app crashing if I'm try creating a new connect for other ports (2947 UDP and TCP, 1001 UDP and TCP, 10110 UDP and TCP) I need more ports for connecting my NMEA multiplexer and AIS (My multiplexer an RPI Access Point...)

I'm try editing the opencpn.conf file on Android, copying from Ubuntu, and don't problem. The bug just the dialog box on android app, the bug place is the "Add" button.
