OpenCPN HW and SW prerequisites

I've been searching for these, both here and OpenCPN site but no luck.

I got relatively old but unused Advantech industrial PC with touch screen and I would like to install OpenCPN.

It came with Win XP, so I already tested it with Linux and it works fine but it needs 32 bit version.

Will OpenCPN run on 32 bit Linux?
What are recommended memory requirements?

yes.

The more the better. Less than 2 GB RAM will probably be a bit of a pain, but it will sure start even with 1GB on x86 the same way it does on a RPi with ARM. Also depends on what other stuff you will have running.

Xinutop is very suited to run Opencpn on a old PC - 2GB will run just fine.
