dashboard and grib are the only two plugins included in default OpenCPN (thus found in OpenCPN github account)
The others plugin are separate and the pot should be found within the source code repo (most are in github to my knowledge...).

Mine are here:
- Logbook (the very basic one I did long ago, not logbook Konni)
https://github.com/SethDart/logbook_...logbook_pi.pot
- VDR
https://github.com/SethDart/vdr_pi/b.../po/vdr_pi.pot
- KML Overlay
https://github.com/SethDart/kmloverl...overlay_pi.pot

Re: OpenCPN Internationalization ( i18n )

Hi all,

I updated dashboard default pot on December 30 and just pushed latest translation received: DE, ES, HU and TR.
Please check if your translation is up-to-date with the latest pot and send any update if required.

Warning: there are two strings in the pot that start with a space " mag" and " true" ("mag" meaning "magnetic" here). Please leave the leading space as is to ensure proper display. Please also try to be as concise as possible because this string is displayed along (wind) angle in the dial display (with not much space available)
IIRC, they are used in True Wind Angle display because we can get either true angle or magnetic angle (remember: variation) Only some nmea instruments send this data so you can see it... or not! But it can be a valuable information so we are displaying it, if received ;-)

Thanks,
Jean-Eudes

Here french file language for Dasboard with the last pot file (30/12/2012).

I choice to write "Vent" as "V." , "Vitesse" as "Vit." and "magnétique" as "magnet.".

Questions :
1° There is in the wind history, two words that we cannot translate :
Since and Overall.

Why not ?

2° Can you explain the diffréence between the curve in bold and thin curve for TWS and TWD.

Thank by advance.

Gilletarom.

Re: OpenCPN Internationalization ( i18n )

Hello SetDart,

I see that you give us the last pot file for your LogBook.

But, now, the last dll that we have for this plug-in do not run with 3.0.2 and with 3.1.1224 because it is too old. So we cannot try.

Can you compile another this dll and place it here ?

Thank by advance.

Uh, because it's forgotten... or "lost in translation!" ;-)

"Max %.1f since %02d:%02d Overall %.1f"

Warning, I'd to update .pot one more time to add this new string. Sorry guys, please send your po files updated.

Nope, I didn't do anything for that instrument. Please refer to http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/...ml#post1115051 for any info or ask Tom if anything is not clear.

Thanks.

Re: OpenCPN Internationalization ( i18n )

Hello SethDart,

Thank for the last pot file for Dasboard. (This day, 08/01/2012)

I add the new item and transdlate it. Here join.

BUT ...

But when I try this new language file, the item is still in English on the screen with the dll I have.

Am I alone in having this problem?

Hello Sethdart,

here french file language for your LogBook.

(For all : this not the logBook of Konni)

I try it and see some anomalies. I try to describe these anomalies in this other thread :
