OpenCPN: No AIS target track

Hello,
I have a RPI3 since a long time and I've just updated with Rasbian, SignalK and Opencpn5.6.
Everything is OK except I can't see AIS target track. (AIS Targets are OK.)
I have tried with Openplotter but It's the same: No AIS target track.
Am I only to have this problem?
Any idea to resolve it?

There was an issue some times ago if I remember correct. AIS track wasn't working with OpenGL switched off. It'll be corrected in next O version. Meanwhile try with OpenGL on if that's ok with the RPi3.

It doesn't work with OpenGL unfortunatly.
Do you know when the O version will be released?

Simplified instructions:
1. Open a CLI (Terminal) window.
2. Do this:

 $ sudo apt-get install software-properties-common 
 $ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:bdbcat/opencpn
  $ sudo apt-get update 

 $ sudo apt-get install opencpn

Ahh.... Bullseye.


We really do not recommend Bullseye on rPI, for OpenCPN, yet. There are problems with Bullseye on rPI4, not totally related to OCPN.

But, if you insist. you may manually install the OCPN version for Ubuntu 20.04, which is equivalent to Bullseye. The Beta .deb files may be found here:

Similar experience with 5.6 on rpi4, using open plotter..show track did not work..clicking record track within target query box showed track...assuming track time box was checked in ais options..

That's OK. With the Beta version 5.6.1, AIS targets work.

When I add (old) ENC charts, I have an error message.
Any idea?
