OpenCPN - not responding to mouse

I've been using OpenCPN on my PC (Windows 10 for a couple of years) for years with no issues.

Last week, with no known changes to OpenCPN or Windows, I was no longer able to drag the chart to desired locations. Opened and closed, uninstalled and reinstalled - the problem has remained the same.
Any suggestions? If not, any suggestions about a different marine navigation app? I really like OpenCPN and will continue to use it on my Samsung tablet.
