Following Pavel's advice and link I've updated my pi2 to jessie. I did it the simple way, by changing all source and package lists to jessie as described in the linked page. Then apt-get did the job. The pi is not that fast so she had to do the whole day but no obstacle or errors.
Then I updated the build chain to wx-3.0 w/o problems and she's now busy building O 4.1.530.
(Is the pi a she??)
