Edit - Just tried the S63 on openplotter & it seems to work fine. Latest opencpn is 4.8, openplotter 0.15.1. Raspbian Jessie (still some issues with stretch apparently)

There are menus to automate the updates.

Note that if you force an upgrade to Stretch, the openplotter update function will no longer work. Found that out when I tried to update OP to 0.16 after updating Raspian to Stretch.

The same here also no update of OpenPlotter.

Upgrades of Linux stretch still work and also kernel updates (rpi-update)

add-apt-repository does not work. Gives an error message.

But with the latest kernel it works much better then before. And don't use OpenGl settings.
