Re: OpenCPN Release Candidate Version 3.1.1417 Released

Hoi Thomas,
On my system(s) the whole anchoralam settings in "options" are not there anymore
I only do find a setting for AIS CPA/TCPA alarm.

Re: OpenCPN Release Candidate Version 3.1.1417 Released

Got it (I think)
Anchor alarm is using the settings as for AIS CPA/TCPA alarm. On a new instalation I thin this alarm sound is not set, and therefore no anchoralarm sound given.
Setting an AIS alarmsound needs a restart of O to get played.
This does ask for some improvement I would think?

Dirk..
I saw you found it but with all respect and not at all aims to a bullying attitude; But being a grateful user I'll point you to the excellent book/wiki the developers and others are serving us. The wiki is actually up to date with latest beta! And also contains nearly all details we can possible need. Not less when new functionalities are added. So have a look in your built-in help or http://opencpn.org/ocpn/anchor_watch.

I haven't noticed this before:

When the cursor stops moving it disappears.

OpenGL is enabled, XP(SP3), I've been trying a second monitor; but it is not plugged in.

I turned OpenGL off then on and now the cursor stays lit.
