Re: OpenCPN Version 2.4 Beta Build 523

sailias....

Thanks for the report.

Does the 10.10 build produce any c++ compiler warnings?

I'm trying to iron these out as they come up. Latest gcc compiler has become much more fussy about potential buffer overruns, and bad casts. All good things to note, and we should fix them if we can.

Thanks
Dave

Re: OpenCPN Version 2.4 Beta Build 523

Hi Dave,

Thank you Dave, but there is no urgency. For us the boating season just ended and I found the Internet after a long absence. I take this opportunity to ask questions about problems I encountered (which I'm responsable for ...) as well as my humble observations.
I'm still very, very pleased with OpenCPN and using only the beta versions to take advantage of recent developments, I know very well that I am called to meet some bugs. It's a choice (I still have a stable version in case ...).

Thank you again to you and other developers for the good job.

I dont think this is an issue.

re: http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/...a-61162-4.html

New users should be guided to the stable offering and beta testers, developers to the development release. This is more an issue of organizing the website to guide the user to where he/she should be.
