Re: OpenCPN Version 2.4 Beta Build 612

Actually I'm still running 2.4.606 - didn't realize I had got left behind.

I'll d/l and run 612 later this week as we head north.

idpnd...
Double check your settings (on the Vector Charts toolbox tab and the A+ icon on the toolbar), all looks good here.

Re: OpenCPN Version 2.4 Beta Build 612

Thanks a lot Pavel, just being a moron (A+ did it).

Another one - when I open the settings, my floating toolbox temporarily disappears. Is that desired? Anyone else get this?

Yes, I do - just when the toolbar is horizontal... Dave will know whether he wanted it this way

Re: OpenCPN Version 2.4 Beta Build 612

We're underway right now so I can't post screen shots but the disappearing route behaviour is definitely still present in 612. It appears to me to be zoom related and may in fact not appear at wider zooms. It also appears to be somehow related to quilt seams - I found a spot earlier today where I could arrow the screen back and forth across a seam and the route display would toggle off and on. If my screen images are any use I can u/l them tonight

Win XP Pro SP3 if that matters

idpnd/nohal....

The toolbar will be hidden when Toolbox is opened iff the two windows would overlap. We hide the toolbar to ensure that focus goes to Toolbox.

Experiment with different positions....

Re: OpenCPN Version 2.4 Beta Build 612

OK - tied up and tethered to my BB. Several pix to post:
4600 - broken route
4604 - orphaned tip off predictor line
4605 - route gone (note gps location c/w 4606)
4606 - route back (toggled it off and on several times by moving the up and down arrows - I have more screen images if they would be useful)
4619 - another broken route later in the day
4625 - navicator didn't seem worried so perhaps I should chill out too

If I'm not capturing useful information in these screen shots please tell me so. We'll be tied up for 3 or 4 days now and then heading further north.

Blast. I may have been looking at .com and not .org. But works. Sorry for the error.
