OpenCPN Version 5.2.4 Released

Hello all OpenCPN users...

We have today released OpenCPN Version 5.2.4.
This is a small, but important, maintenance release including the following updates:

1. Correct rare fault when showing certain features of selected ENCs.
2. Implement minor update to Plugin manager GUI display layout.

As usual, the Release installation packages are available in the opencpn.org download page.
The linux/Ubuntu packages are also available from the OpenCPN Production PPA.
And finally, the full source code package is available at github.com

still referring to OCPN 5.2.0 both for Windows and Mac.

So it is the same here, not working.

Chrome, at least, is blocking the download because it is http, not https.
Quick fix until url is corrected is to rightclick and "Open link in new tab".

The Download page worked correctly for me. See screenshot, below.

Some browsers reload old web pages from the local computer's memory. if your browser displays the old page, try refreshing the page.

It is a poor coded web page, a meta line like this in the header could help: <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="...

The macOS version of OpenCPN 5.2.4 still crashes with El Capitan (10.11.6).
Remove .pdf from the zip file.

This may upset some of the developers but I find that the '+nnnnn' suffix on the downloaded program a bit of lack of aesthetic detail.

It seems to be a carry over from incremental revisions in the update process but why are they (as in previous versions) carried over to the stable release?

Are they really necessary?

Should have mentioned this prior to the latest release but thought it would be obvious to the developers.
