Bonjour les marins informaticiens.

je viens vous solliciter car aujourd'hui, je navigue avec un Raspberry PI 4 avec la version opencpn 5.6.2 et j'aimerai passer sur la version opencpn 5.8.2. Mais je ne sais pas ou trouver la version exécutable ou encodage pour pouvoir réaliser la mutation.
Donc si une personne aurais la solution ou tuto pour le faire. je suis très intéresse.

Looks like you need an update of OpenGL.
Perhaps you could visit the Intel website. There are automatic tools to help update there.

Just updated from openplotter and when I open opencpn it opens before closing after a few seconds. Any ideas?

Just change the file extension of the log to .log.jpg or .log.pdf to overcome the restriction.

Hi, just updated to 5.8.2 on Raspberry pi using the OpenPlotter - OpenCPN installer.

I can no longer run unless in Safe Mode. In normal mode, as soon as the map loads, OpenCPN crashes.

I did have o-charts plug-in installed. Could this be the issue? I can't seem to update the o-charts plugin in Safe mode as it is not listed. As I can't start OpenCPN in normal mode, I don't know a way to update the plug-in, assuming that is the issue.

Is there a way I can manually disable plug-ins via the configuration file?

Please try this:
1. Temporarily rename the OCPN plugin directory (~./local/lib/opencpn) to something safe, like ~/.local/lib/opencpn.save. DO NOT DELETE IT.

2. Try to start OCPN as normal. It should start, and you should find no plugins available, except for the 4 default plugins.
3. If the start succeeds, please show us the contents of the saved ~/.local/lib/opencpn.

Thanks for the quick reply. Renaming the folder works and OpenCPN started normally. There are four files in that folder:

libaisradar_pi.so
libo-charts_pi.so
lib radar_pi.so
libsquiddio_pi.so

If I remove all files in the folder, OpenCPN will start. However, if I move ANY one of the files back (doesn't matter which one), OpenCPN, will start, then crash after the maps appear.
