OpenCPN via VNC: iOS vs Android

I am running OpenCPN on a RaspPi with a fixed display at the chart table and an iPad connected via VNC in the cockpit. This works well, especially after I discovered the Interaction setting on the iPAD, which can be set from mouse to touch. In this mode, I can tap directly on the zoom button for instance. In the mouse mode I have to move the mouse pointer first to the zoom icon. Which is a PITA.

The only drawback is brightness in sun light. So, I got me a used Samsung Active Tab, which is much better in terms of brightness. But I cannot find the Interaction settings in VNC on the tablet. Could it be, that this feature is missing in the Android version of VNC?

Any hints will be appreciated
