OpenCPN with Andriod Tides & Currents

Hi, I've just down loaded OpenCPN onto my Laptop and I am very happy with the result. However I am not so pleased with the results on my Tablet, I can't get the Tides and currents to display. Can any one help

Just to be sure: are you using the paid (small amt) Dave Register version of Android OpenCPN? It is the only one that is kept up to date.

Tides work fine on mine. BUT you have to turn their display on:

Hi Thanks for your reply, the odd think is that I get tidal data outside the chart area but nothing inside. I have dowloaded the chart from OCharts and it works well on the PC but on the tablet I get no tidal data within the chart area.
I have tried copying tsTide from my PC to the tablet with no improvement. I hade everything set exactly as you had. I must be missing something.

There are no tide/current stations for France in the OpenCPN Tide/Current dataset, partially due to licensing restrictions.

hello,

You certainly have Merak56 files known as "Harmonic V10".

You have to copy them on your Android device and tell the system where to get them, this is the link for a french tutorial
