Pi 4 b - 64 bit OS OpenCPN launch failure

Hi All,

I've installed Open CPN via the flatpak installer on my Pi 4b with the 64-bit OS installed. However when I try to launch OpenCPN I get an X Window error. I am connecting to the pi via VNC but I don't think that should matter. I can launch other applications just fine.

version info:

OpenCPN       org.opencpn.OpenCPN          5.6.0-3+777652e stable

:~ $ flatpak run org.opencpn.OpenCPN

Did you use the right instruction to install the flatpak version ?

You have to install the flatpak enviroment first:

sudo apt install flatpak

then the flatpak OpenCPN

flatpak install --user https://dl.flathub.org/repo/appstrea...CPN.flatpakref

On the Pi you must have the VNC server switched on. VNC show in right upper corner.

So it works here.

then:

flatpak run org.opencpn.OpenCPN

and do the same but with update instead of run. Then the alarm sounds are also ringing.

then you see somewere an Icon to start the flatpak Opencpn.

I re-installed everything from scratch and it's working now. I must have messed something up along the way.
