Pilot Charts

I have downloaded the pilot charts from the opencpn.org website several times, but I cannot open them with opencpn. I get an error "Unexpected parameter - then the file name.

I am running version 3.1.1224

Would appreciate help with what I am doing wrong.

Thanks

Bill

You must be trying to open these charts by double clicking on them (with Opencpn as the default app to open them)
You cannot do that. You must open OpenCpn, than select the folder containing those charts with the toolbox

Re: Pilot Charts

ARGH!!!! Guys thanks. Unfortunate, I did not notice that the files use 7-zip versus Adobe PDF. Once I downloaded the 7-zip and unziped the files it worked fine.

Re: Pilot Charts

Anyway, the proper extension for raster charts is .kap, not .pdf ;-)
