The Grib display in my version OpenCPN 3.2.2 (Debian- Crunchbang) isn't like this one-





There's no way to "animate" the weather or have the options below.




Any way to fix this?

Yes, use the latest beta.

Oh boy. I'm running Crunchbang which is build off of Debian. (By the way, Crunchbang is very, very, very fast on an old computer).

Not sure if this applies but when the instructions say "compile" I know I'm doomed.

There's no beta for Debian that I can find.

Any ideas?

The betas for older Ubuntus from https://launchpad.net/~nohal/+archive/opencpn should work on Debian without problems as the stable versions do and we make no Debian specific packages...
BTW, compiling OpenCPN is not a rocket science - you hit Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V and Enter about 5 times and it is done.

This is kind of weird, so let's try with some pictures. Do you see something else than I do (screenshot attached) on that page?

Paval, I downloaded OpenCPN for Precise (somehow I figured where to get it). But, upon installation something is broken- it's looking for Libc6 version 15 and I only have Libc6 version 13.

I don't want to mess with it. I'm very satisfied with 3.2.2 and I use Zygrib for wx.

You have done a wonderful work for mariners.
