There are recent dlls for:
Grib_Enhancements grib-e<version>_pi.dll
NEW_GRIB grib-p<version>_pi.dll

Try them both out. They have different features. The authors, Sean and Jean Pierre are talking about merging them, but we need them both tested. Please report findings on respective threads. Thanks. - By the way, I am naming these as shown above to eliminate confusion. Cahnge to .doc in plugin directory if you don't want it to show up.

Status update of Sean's plugins as far as I know:

Wmm-pi Good. It works. Compiled and DLL uploaded Post 96
Celestial_Navigation_pi Complied, runs. DLL uploaded as last file, breaks on applying second fix - Post 72
Weatherfax_pi Good, it works Post 302 - Sean, Compile it again and put on thread?
Grib_Enhancements Good. It works, DLL in Post 63

Grib_ep4_pi.dll Jean Pierre (Ptizef) and Sean (boat_alexandra)

These are pretty much complete for this round I think.

Celestial_Nav has a little bug in Debug mode that does not seem to affect the release version at all. There have been inquiries about advancing an LOP, and some concern about index error being computed. Don't forget Celestial_Nav needs to have 3 files in plugins/celestial_navigation/data -See the link.

Weatherfax's image (jpg, gif, etc) has been tested extensively and we think works great, and the wav side works but may need more testing.

Grib_enhancements/New_grib has been merged, and works fine with two improvements needed.
1. In the Windows version there is a horizontal slider bar where the file name would normally appear.
2. There have been some requests for enabling the selection of grib area, and more types of data for the email attachment, and the possibility of adding additional sources. Also use of ftp download user settings using internet.

A big THANK YOU to Sean, Jean Pierre Pavel, and SaltyPaws for all their hard work and effort. Please give these plugins a try and exercise them!

These are updated links to the dll and other files. Some of these may have made their way to the download page of Opencpn plugins (more specifically, wmm and the calculator)

We need users to test the merged grib_pi and weather_routing_pi which requires a special opencpn setup.

Weatherfax could also be tested in use, particularly the fax side. The sound side is still being developed but any testing or experience would be helpful to Sean.

Celestial Navigation should also be tested further by some navigators who are experienced with the process.
