Problems with plug-ins

Hello, I have an issue with the OpenCPN program's plug-ins. I installed several plug-ins, and now the program starts but shuts down after a few seconds. I've tried to completely uninstall the program, but after each reinstall, the program still manages to find some old configuration files somewhere, and the problem persists. I have macOS operating system. Can I restart the program in Safe Mode, so I can remove plugin files?

You can delete all the plugin files using the following command executed from the Terminal.app

rm ~/Library/Application\ Support/OpenCPN/Contents/PlugIns/*

We would like to see your logfile to identify the plugin that causes the crash.
