o-charts is part of OpenCPN. Providing charts for OpenCPN and stepping in where OpenCPN requires some legal person in order to sign stuff for example with the Hydrographic Offices.
We did choose this approach to assure a clean separation between Open Source and closed part due to restrictions licensing implies.

I have had a few issues with missing or incorrect information shown on the AusENC charts for my area (SE Tasmania) and have generally found the Aus Hydrographic Office to be very responsive for requests for additions and corrections. The only knock-back I got was for navigation marks in unsurveyed areas (eg the Huon River). Has anyone asked the AHO to add the Stark Bay marks to the AusENC?
