For those interested,I have set up a POI database here:
4shared folder - POI.gpx FILES

I have created a number of international POI icons,many with appropriate links. Please add/edit and complete what is missing and upload.

I have used a special info icon which is also included.

The FREE .gpx POI library now includes numerous HD videos of Norway and Brazil which are stored in my Google Drive (cloud) Have a look. 4shared folder - POI.gpx FILES

Import the .gpx POI´s in the waypoint area of OpenCPN. Storing them in your layers directory ensures automatic access.
