RPi + N2K net + Sailoog Can-USB Stick

Hello,

excuse my english!

I have a RPi model 3B with the latest version of opcpn and openplotter. Additional I have a N2K network attached to the RPi with the Dailoog CAN-USB Stick. The N2K net has also a Lowrance Link 8 with AIS receiver includes and a B&G GPS. In openplotter I can see the speed, position and so on in the diagnostic windows. Is there a way to use the data in OPCPN? Step one GPS an SOG COG, step two the AIS data? With other hardware?

I found a tread from 2012 that only NMEA 0183 data will use in OPCPN. Is this actual?

Thanks a lot for a hint!

Regards from Berlin

Re: RPi + N2K net + Sailoog Can-USB Stick

Problem is fixed

In Signal K the Plugins for N2K AIS to NMEA0183 Converter and the normal NMEA Converter Plugin must install and set to active!
