Simultaneous work with two GRIB files

CPN has the ability to open and work with two Grib files.
I have a GFS model without Wind data and an ICON model with higher resolution wind data. By opening two Grib files, the weather data complement each other.
Question
since opening two files implies only manual selection of files. reading the last fresh Grib file does not work with this method when the grib plugin is enabled
Is it possible somehow to make a container of two Grib files and open it in CPN as one file?
Or maybe there are some ideas for improving the Grib plugin?
for example
In the plugin settings, add the ability to specify the path to the folder where the Grib files are stored, as an option, two paths Grib1 and Grib2.

try to select the 2 files in the grib-open-file dialog (press CTRL to select the 2 files)


I just tried that with 2 gribs covering not exactly the same area to demonstrate it (still) works.

I do so, I write about it that it only works manually.
And I would like to automate the process of working with two grib files. my Grib files by subscription are automatically delivered to a folder on my pc.
