Size of icons

I am looking for the way of changing size of icons when zooming.
Is there an option somewhere ?

What is the device and O.S.?

On PC and Win 8.1 (but it's same on Mac).
I put a buoy icon on a small island. At large scale the buoy is larger than the island itself because its size doesn't change while zooming.
It'd be nice that icons have the same behavior as, for instance, those on vector charts (CM93) which disappear at large scale.

It is a good idea. You should open a task in the flyspray. At the request of the "features".
