Text on oeSENC charts

OK, I've now got the oeSENC charts to display on my computer. However I can't get text, particularly place names to display.

What do I need to do? I've tried checking the box for National chart display in Vector chart display. Still no text/place names. Are there place names on ENC charts?

Use Menu Options
Charts
Vector Chart Display
Remove the checkmark from "Important Text Only"

This is just below the "National text on chart" which you checked.

"Important Text Only" turns OFF all text on the chart except for bridge clearance heights.

Thanks for mentioning "T" as the hot key. It works



In the manual it says "One very important setting for vector charts is handled directly from the main toolbar. This button toggles all text displayed on a vector chart On and Off." I can't find that button. I have opened the Chart Panel options and selecting the "show text" box under Vector Charts does work.

Display menu, down right. The "hamburger". "Show text"

That's equivalent to the short cut "T"

The manual is not updated to reflect the changes from 4.x to 5.x
