Too "Fat" ship prediction vectors in v5.8.2

Is there a way to make the Ownship/AIS predictor vectors narrower on-screen? I can't find such a setting through the settings dialog. Is there a parameter in the opencpn.ini file that I can edit (Windows build)?

I updated from 5.6.2 to 5.8.2, using the .ini same .ini file for the new version, so all legacy settings are still the same. But the new version has such "fat" vectors that is it it disruptive.

R..D..
If I remember correct it will be fixed in next release but meanwhile you can try to change in the config(ini) file:
[Settings/AIS]
...
AISCOGPredictorWidth=3 << change to 1?

Thanks, I quit and made the edit from 3 to 1, but after re-launching it had no effect (at least not on VDR playback). After quitting again, I went back in and verified that it had saved. Sounds like it's a bug maybe?

RD...
Please check options->Display->Advanced->Physical Screen Width.
If set to "auto", does it match your device's screen width?
If not, then switch to "manual" mode, get a metric scale, and set the width value correctly

Back Story: Windows is notoriously poor at detecting the physical size of connected monitors, especially when using older displays.

Let us know how this goes.

Thanks
Dave
