Thought I'd pass along my observations. Dell 7220 Windows 11. Background: I've been fiddling with a RTL-SDR dongle to try to get AIS working. Worked on Android, still can't get it working in Windows 11. In fiddling with RTL-SDR drivers that didn't work and I uninstalled, I probably killed the U-Blox driver. I reinstalled the U-Blox driver, but I had also fiddled with my OpenCPN connections and somehow made what had worked on Com6 inoperative. In researching the OpenCPN manual, under the Mac section, it said to use a baud rate of 115200. When I reset the Windows11 OpenCPN 5.6.x Com6 connection baud rate to 115200 it worked fine.
Still struggling with getting AIS working in Windows. I can only test from my office (overlooking the water) or the harbor, since my home is out of VHF range.
