Using Memory Map QCT charts in OpenCPN ?

Hi - I'm looking at OpenCPN for use on a laptop on my boat as a backup to the plotter, but struggling to find a conversion for the Memory Map .QCT files to a KAP / BSB file for use in OPenCPN - there are references in old threads but I have drawn a blank - any advice would be appreciated .
Thanks James
