Vessel Names File

It seems to me that newer versions of OpenCPN are creating a file of linking vessel Names with MMSI numbers. This way the vessel Names can be displayed as soon as any data stream is picked up. It does not need to wait for the static data to be transmitted as long as you have viewed that vessel at some point in the past.

My question is where is that file located and what is it called? I would like to be able to clear it.

Re: Vessel Names File

Greg...
It is in the same folder as your configuration file (Click the ? icon in the toolbar to see the location, it is platform dependent), called mmsitoname.csv
