Any version newer than ocpn_draw_pi-1.4.70-win32.exe does not work with OpenCPN 4.8.4

I.e. version 1.5.22 or 1.6.0 is not recognized by OpenCPN 4.8.4.
I was not able to find version 1.6.1

I installed ocpn_draw_pi version 1.4.70 and it was recognized by the OpenCPN 4.8.4 and I am now able to route with boundaries in that older version of OpenCPN.

Thanks a lot Rick for pointing out that I had to back step to much earlier versions. That did the trick.

Multiple o-charts loaded
Grib file downloaded with ZyGrib application
Grib file linked to OpenCPN with Grib plugin

Crash of OpenCPN on startup of WeatherRouting.
Happened in log at 8:36:25
In log I see this:

08:36:25.155 ERROR filefn.cpp:1183 Le dossier «*C:\ProgramData\opencpn\\plugins\weather_routing\ \boats*» n'a pas pu être créé (erreur 183*: Impossible de créer un fichier déjà existant.)
08:36:25.156 ERROR filefn.cpp:1183 Le dossier «*C:\ProgramData\opencpn\\plugins\weather_routing\ \polars*» n'a pas pu être créé (erreur 183*: Impossible de créer un fichier déjà existant.)

How to share log file & crashreport? Attaching in this reply is rejected: invalid file.

Uninstalled WeatherRouting
Close OpenCPN
Deleted completely C:\ProgramData\opencpn\plugins\weather_routing repository
Reopened OpenCPN
Reinstalled WeatherRouting

Tried to open plugin multiple times, no success, nothing is happening.

I did the exact same sequence yesterday and came back to OpenCPN crashing. Not sure what I did to make it crash. Will continue tests trying to reproduce reason.

Hope inputs can already help.

How to share log file & crashreport? Attaching in this reply is rejected: invalid file.

One way:
Copy your log file. Rename the file to "opencpn.log.pdf"
On the forum "Go advanced". Scroll down to "Manage Attachments". Browse and upload "opencpn.log.pdf"
Then any user has to discard the ".pdf" extension when downloaded but that's "how we do it here".

When you reinstalled weather_routing_pi, was the directory "weather_routing" present under
C:\ProgramData\opencpn\plugins ?

Yes, I uninstalled the plugin first, then closed OpenCPN then deleted completely C:\ProgramData\opencpn\plugins\weather_routing repository.
After this, I reinstalled the plugin and the repository was recreated.
So there I should have been in a perfectly clean situation but still not working as I then even can not have any plugin display or OpenCPN crash.

I also tried removing as much plugins as possible, no changes.
Removed as well o-charts plugin (without deleting configs), no changes.

Last option I see is uninstalling OpenCPN completely and removing all repositories but I'm afraid I will loose my o-charts vector maps if I do so.

Don't think that will help, it is some other problem. I wouldn't do that.
What OS please? - Later: Win 11. I think this should work, it works on Win 10. Let me think about this.

I downloaded the crash report and expanded, no Log file there for some reason.

Strange.
Here they are.

Succeeded to come back to crash of OpenCPN. Went first to latest version of WeatherFax which is working fine after my tests then tried to open WeatherRouting again... crashed OpenCPN.
