What type of connection is better?

The OpenCPN physical connection is important when analyzing speed, reliability, galvanic isolation and corrosion, but what are you using?
The options from a PC or Raspberry point of view are USB, WiFi (TCP or UDP), and Ethernet (TCP or UDP).
Have problems appeared in any of these connections?
