Who is using debian armhf or arm64 buster 10?

Who is using any of these Operating Systems?

o571 beta3 debian-arm64-10-buster-arm64.xml
o571 beta3 debian-armhf-10-buster-armhf.xml
o571 beta3 debian-armhf-10-gtk3-buster-armhf.xml

Please test testplugin_pi 1.0.226.0 which is in the plugin manager's Beta Catalog.

We need to have this done before building any plugins using this template. We need to be sure that the testplugin_pi loads and the basic functions work.

Re: Who is using debian armhf or arm64 buster 10?

Doesn't anybody use these OS? If not, perhaps it is not worthwhile compiling about 20 plugins for these OS?

.... If you are interested in having plugins for one of these OS, you'd best test out testplugin and report back.

Rick ...

Have not been able to find a package or setup a build of OpenCPN 5.7.1 for arm64 buster 10. Only the version OpenCPN 5.6.2 was found. Lots of missing dependencies for building OpenCPN from source. In my opinion not worth worrying about 5.7.1 plugins for buster arm64.

Mike, that is very helpful information. Thank you. What do you think about the two armhf 10 buster versions? Do you think there are any users?

I would like to get going rebuilding plugins, but this has been a real hangup, and I am trying to set a higher bar on building garbage plugins that have not been tested and probably aren't used.

You may notice elsewhere that I have tested these two, and they are fine.

Did you miss that?

btw, I agree with Mike. Probably almost every RPi user wanting "official" 64 bit kernel will have moved to Bullseye by now.
