Thanks Mike, we are waiting for a few bits of hardware to connect the friend's Garmin radar to opencpn, then we see how it works.

For V5 plugins; I'd like to suggest the toolbar icons be updated to the new dark style?

Keeping the pre V5 icons spoils the new look.

My screen attached. The MOB is more light than the others but may be good?

All of the new icons are monochrome apart from the MOB (and I agree this is a good idea).

For consistency, I think it would be better if the plugins also have monochrome icons.

I will gladly accept pull requests with new icons - they are simple SVG drawings, no technical knowledge is needed at all to work on them...

Those icons look great in the new UI style.
To get them integrated, simply send the .svg files to the respective plugin authors. The author may be found on the opencpn.org plugins download page.

I'm sure they will be all happy to integrate the new icons at their next build point.

OK, I've tweaked the Tactics and Open Draw manager icons to make them clearer.
