Air conditioning / heating a FP in Turkey

Hello FP owners,

Looking for someone who has been in southern Turkey during winter to tell me whether a reverse cycle air con and a bar heater can warm a FP enough to live aboard in winter.

Thanks

Re: Air conditioning / heating a FP in Turkey

You can live there with electric powered heating tools. It is not going below 0 C° in southern parts of Turkiye in winter. The problem is electric energy KWh price is too high in marinas. It is 6-10 times expensive from electric energy KWh price due in city. You need to find a solution like gas or petrol heating in the boat if you don't want to pay excessive electric bills in the marinas.

Thank you very much for the information! Do you live in Turkey? We may have other questions.
