Lipari 41: Engines

Lipari 41 comes with standard VP D1-20 engines or the optional VP D1-30.
Both have and option of VP folding props on the 130s sail drive.

Interesting discussion with the Brisbane Volvo people the other day. They mentioned that during the pre handover service they do here in Australia they routinely change the thermostat to one with a lower temp as they felt that the unit fitted in Europe was too high for use in Australia. As most of us usually cruise in warmer waters probably worth looking at.

Certainly looks cool and seems a reasonable cost. Just trying to work out if it is an overkill.


How often, other than a regular service, do you need to change your impeller.

I know they can go any-time, but interested in how often that actually happens to people. Anyone had to change one at sea?
