Bahia 46: ENO Accessories

Most older models FP are equipped with ENO stove and oven , we wanted to purchase and fit the ENO tempered glass lid for our three burners and had sourced this product via an Australian distributor, price was $ 295.00 + $ 45.00 freight to ship from QLD to our front door in Victoria, after ordering it we were told that there was a 10 to 12 weeks delivery on this out of stock item .
To make a long story short , we cancelled the order ( took 3 weeks to get our refund !) and ordered directly from France , price was €71.50 ( Euros ) including delivery and we received it 8 days later !
Although we are keen to support local ( Australian) businesses, we are more and more purchasing directly from the French manufacturers as the % mark up applied here are just plain ridiculous.

That looks great. I know it's a daft question, but how do you secure it in the upright position? And can you secure it when it's flat?
I agree with prices in Aus - gouging is the term for it I believe. It's the most expensive place we've lived, on and off the boat!

The hinges are self locking in the open upright position

Bought it directly from ENO France , just google the brand and you will get the link to their catalog with all accessories.
By the way , our Bahia is a 46’ Maestro

Tried to source one recently, ENO France will no longer sell & ship these to Australia, they just referred me to the Aussie distributer - $295 plus freight!

Needless to say I didn't bother!

Shipping, especially on a...ship...is a mess right now. Australia is far away and in a major Covid mess.

It took me 2 months to get 4 dice from the US. Shipping, mail and customs chaos have messed up our commercial world.

I buy as physically close to home as possible.

At the moment, I have waited one month for replacement blood sugar sensors, that typically arrive in 4 business days.

It seems to be getting worse.

How stable is that glass cover mounted? Want to put a 3 burner induction cooktop on top of the Glass Cover with eg a big pot of water to make pasta for 6 (go fully electric galley) but still keep the gas stove as backup.
