Out Chasing Stars Transport and Launching Video - Out Chasing Stars

It's pretty amazing seeing this drive through the streets of France!
I've been following along with the adventures of David and Amy since I meet them at the Kemah, TX boat show and sold them a water maker for their boat. I love seeing young people heading out cruising and on such a nice boat!

Thanks for the shout out Rich! We arrived safe and sound in Miami yesterday after 26 days at sea, leaving from Las Palmas. The launching was a special day, but feels like quite a while ago now!

Congratulations StarryHorizons, hope you are on your way doing well now..

SV Third Day, that is old home ground to me, Morro Bay... Years spent Cruising the Channel Islands down to Catalina and further south... We would stop in Morro Bay on the way south from San Francisco back to the Channel Islands. Old turf to me. How interesting.. Even a Force 50, very familiar type of boat there, hope yours is one of the few with fibreglass under the teak decks and alluminum spars.. Last time I was there was on a DownEast 45 I re-rigged and re-powered and re-finished... Hmmm good ole days..

Monte, how about one of these two definitions as witty signatures for you:

Cruising: The most expensive way in the world to travel Third Class...

Cruising: Moving your continuing boat maintenance to different places in the world where it is harder to get the parts and supplies you need...

Helia 44, finally travelling first class now that I am matured, with 6 marine Air Conditioning units, three kinds of refrigeration and freezer, ice maker, big diesel gen set, and all the possible normal nav and radar gear doubled up above and below... heh he, first class but double the maintenance... heh he

Could we add "blue water cruising is working on your boat in exotic places" - read it somewhere it drew a smile
