FP topping lift fixture

My FP Antigua 37 sits on a swing mooring in 3 meters of water in front of my house. Remnants of a cyclone swept past Brisbane late January with max winds of 47 knots. My normal "parking" set up is to attach main halyard to topping lift fixture (to keep it from slapping the mast) and triangulating topping lift, main sheet, and tensioner running to rear lifeline support. This immobilizes boom almost as well as a boom crutch. On inspecting boat after the storm found that the topping lift fixture on the casting at the end of the boom where the reefing and outhaul lines exit was completely torn off. The topping lift and main halyard were kept from swinging into the wind generator by cords maintaining tension on the boom bag zipper. My boat's mast and boom are by Z spar and the number on the casting at the end of the boom is 1070. I checked the same casting on a friends FP Belize and it is identical to mine. I used some 10mm braid to reattach the topping lift (photo next post). Wonder if this is a problem with any other FP's out there? Also a bit of corrosion where the shackle is attached to this fixture.
