Helia 44: Garmin Chart Plotter

I have been told By the FP dealer here in the US that the Garmin 12" display cannot be installed at the helm station. Im sure that I have seen posts to the contrary. I am expecting delivery of #250in La Rochelle Jan 2019

First, the helm station of what (Type and model of boat), Second why would you need one so big? I used a 9" on a 47' Trawler just fine.

Thank you. Fontaine Pajot Helia 44. My eye sight not that great and with a split screen I feel i would be better off.

On a Helia 44 you can use a Garmin 12" at the Helm. Normally A 10" inch Garmin would be at the Nav Station.
