Re: Hatches, Windows and Ventilation

Anyone know the model number of the GOIOT round deck hatch. Not the small ones over the head but the ones mounted on the forward peak. We only had one fitted at the factory but now find we would like one fitted on the other side.

There are two size round Goiot Cristal Deck Hatches
The model 44C is Size 19 Product # 101845 which has a 474mm (18.66 inch) opening
The model 49C is Size 19 Product # 105157 which has a 518mm (20.39 inch) opening.

You most likely have the model 44C is Size 19 Product # 101845 which has a 474mm (18.66 inch) opening that does not have the piston that keep the hatch open

With a medium profile construction, the Cristal hatches combine stylish design and shapes with a sturdy one-piece lid, engineered from aluminum casting. We offer a wide range of sizes. larger hatch models are designed to be used as fore deck hatches.

Re: Hatches, Windows and Ventilation

Found them. Went to the Australian distributor. Very responsive but they don't have one in stock but have added to their airfreight order. NOT cheap though. Price as per my options list was $1500 fitted at time of order by the factory, just under $1000 supply only here in Australia. I suspect that $500 to have it fitted here (bugga of a job) is a reasonable price so may end up similar.

Yes Just checked. $1500 in AUD but this includes all out lovely taxes and duties and shipping it halfway around the world. 696 euro works out today as $1059 AUD. There are some downsides to living in this beautiful end of the world.
