The only other Lucia 40 s I am aware of are:

Mandala. Charter Yachts Australia. Available late 2017 in the Whitsundays. “Mandala” Fountaine Pajot Lucia 40 – Charter Yachts Australia

sv Discovery. A USA based charter yacht. The Boat – SV Discovery

Sailing unspoken. Mike and Lauren. About Us – Sailing Unspoken

Don't know the owners names nor the hull numbers.

Cheers.

Re: Lucia Owners

Hi, We're collecting our Lucia 40 in La Rochelle at the end of April :-) So looking forward to exchanging info and news from our fellow owners. Looking to liveaboard in the Med for a while.

G'Day hobsonlea.
We will be going past La Rochelle around May 11 so if you are still there we may see you. En route back to Sant Carles to splash Reflexion and continue our cruise. Ttarget this year is Greece.
Don't rush. Spend a bit of time in Galicea, it's very nice.
May could be a bit early for good weather in that area though.

Re: Lucia Owners

Hi there, you can now add SV Tigger to the list. My wife Lauren and I fly out to La Rochelle to pick up boat #80 on Monday. The plan is to 'coast-hug' slowly going down to the Northern coast of Spain, then Portugal, then back into Spain. If all goes well we'll get to Gibraltar or San Carlos, near Valencia. Sorry no website yet.

Welcome, SV Tigger and Lauren, looks like we're on a similar plan to yourselves. We fly into CDG on 4th May and drive to La Rochelle arriving on Friday 5th, and hoping to depart between 15th and 20th.. we will prob spend 3 months in Portugal and 3 months in Spain and a target destination between Valencia and Barcelona perhaps Santa Carles Marina. I see the Volvo departs Alicante on 22nd Oct.

Re: Lucia Owners

Has anyone with a US ordered vessel arrived with the Yanmarr 3YM30AE engines? We noticed they were installed in a couple hulls we viewed in La Rochelle this past November and heard it might be due to difficulty sourcing American Emissions approved Volvo's.

The Volvo Penta D1-30 engine has a Emission compliance of US EPA Tier 3

This is the latest EPA standard.

Yeah, just a rumor. Not sure why we saw Yanmar's in there.

Re: Lucia Owners

I'm curious what the more popular arrangements are - the 3 cabin 2 head layout looks like a winner to me.

Re: Lucia Owners

We went with 3 cabin/2 head. Owner vs charter I suppose. But even for charter, it seems like sharing a larger head is better than having a private tiny one.

Re: Lucia Owners

When our boat splashes this month it will be coming with a set of Yanmar 3YM30AE's .. Our understanding was that it was a Volvo supply issue.
