Does anyone have the rig tensioning specs for a mid 1990s Tobago ?

At a sailing club I felt the rig tension of a number of boats and found they varied from very loose to so tight you could have made a guitar out of the boat. Is this correct?

As I understand it that depends on the design of the mast and the interaction with the sailmaker.

So tight you can play a tune is rarely correct.
